Beneficiation of Idaho Kyanite-Bearing Materials. Research was conducted by the Bureau of Mines to develop a process for utilization of Idaho kyanite. A continuous gravity-flotation separation process was applied successfully to recover kyanite-group minerals from an Idaho ore containing about 21 percent combined kyanite, andalusite, Contact Supplier.
Phosphate ore is an important raw material for manufacturing fertilizers and phosphorous chemical products. While most of the phosphate resources cannot be directly treated as feed stock due to the low grade of P2O5 and high content of impurities.
In order to obtain a qualified phosphate concentrate, the beneficiation of the low-grade phosphate ore is, hence, of great necessity. Typically, the matrix is washed and deslimed at mesh. The material finer than mesh is pumped to clay settling ponds.
Removal of these impurities is sometimes called beneficiation. It results in higher grade ore, and is necessary for bot\൨ economic and technical reasons.
Beneficiation may involve screening, washing, hydrocyclones, flotation, calcination, magnets 對or any combination of these. Grinding of coarser materials may also be involved.
